Reminds me
of my BSA Yuca Back Pack I used from Philmont to National Jamboree in the 60's.
Lots of places to put water bottles. Maybe add an interior zip pocket to put
smaller items.

Bought on
last year and I have used it for winter camping as well as canoe trips into
BWCA. The nylon straps does not bother me at all. Would recommend to a friend

This pack
looks fantastic, but I will hold off on buying it until it's redesigned with
leather instead of nylon.

Excellent
pack, had mine two months, and been everywhere with me. Only thing to make it
perfect to me if the two pockets were wide enough to take a NATO waterbottle
and metal mug. That owuld have been spot on!

I don't own this pack...

As my
Summary states I don't own this pack, but was hoping that I could help a little
with a possible modification to it. The pack is beautiful with one MAJOR
exception. There is nylon webbing on this pack. I think most people that
purchase Duluth packs (and certainly the major reason I've considered
purchasing a Duluth pack) want the timelessness and natural look and feel
provided by Leather, Cotton, and metal. I would love to see this pack
redesigned for next year with a leather hipbelt and compression straps. I could
definitely see myself purchasing this pack with such modifications.
